After a long battle, for the past decade, Honda Accord was named the top selling car, beating their longtime competitor Toyota Camry.

Honda was said to have sold 124,967 Accord sedans and coupes through the end of May, pulling within 1,000 cars of the Camry’s 125,804. This is a great feat for Honda since Toyota Camry has been their long time nemesis in the sedan department for years. However, this rivalry does not include sales of the Crosstour, an expensive luxury hatchback version of the Accord. Even though they have many of the same part the Crosstour is considered a light SUV or pick up.

With Honda Accord Miami you can expect great financing and untouchable reliability, which many consumers were enticed by to make their final decision easier, and go with the Accord.

So, If you are in the market for a top selling sedan or coupe make sure to visit your local Honda Dealership and take advantage of the dependability that the Honda Accord has to offer.

Honda recently announced that 83.8% of automobiles sold in U.S in 2009 were produced in the company’s North American manufacturing plants. This proves to be an all time high for the company as it has maintained a local production rate of 75% or higher since 1996. Honda currently operates 7 manufacturing plants in North America – four in the U.S., two in Canada and one in Mexico, producing fifteen different models, including the Civic sedan, coupe and GX (natural gas vehicle), Accord sedan, coupe and Crosstour, Odyssey, Pilot, Ridgeline, CR-V and Element, as well as the Acura TL, ZDX, RDX and MDX models.

Honda’s North American plants produced a total of more than one million vehicles in 2009, including those for export and currently in dealer inventory. “As part of our long-standing commitment to build Honda and Acura products close to our customers, we have steadily deepened our automobile manufacturing roots in the U.S. and the North America region,” said Tetsuo Iwamura, president & CEO of American Honda Motor Co., Inc. “Using our flexible manufacturing capacity, we plan to continue to maintain our local production levels at approximately 80 percent of our annual sales.”

Honda seems to be making more and more appearances in North America due to its increase in production sales. Not only is Honda helping the American Economy by producing and selling more vehicles through the use of its North American plants but it is also able to cut out the cost of having them manufactured elsewhere.

New Honda Cars Priced Cheaper than Used Cars in Miami

December 21, 2009 1 comment

According to a recent report conducted by, one can find deals on new vehicles being sold for less than the one year old used version of the same model. “Demand and supply dynamics are causing an increase in used car prices while lowering new car prices across the board, generally speaking,” according to site representatives. Accord to the Edmunds list, one can buy a Honda Accord LX and save over $600 by buying it new instead of used.

The analysis was done by comparing the vehicles True Market Value® transaction prices and the interest payments typically made for each vehicle. Some reasons for these occurrences are due to the limited supply of used cars. Three factors contributing to the limit of used cars are that there are fewer vehicles coming off lease this year because of the recent decline in leasing’s popularity and availability. Second, ‘Cash for Clunkers’ rendered many thousands of used vehicles inoperable and removed them from the scene at an unnaturally high rate. Third, because of the economy people are holding onto their cars longer.
